Brandon Ingram Continues Awful Shooting
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram still could not find the rim on Tuesday, finishing just 2-for-11 from the floor for a forgettable seven points. Ingram did chip in nine boards, four assists, a steal and block, but he's averaging just 8.3 points on 29 percent shooting over the last five games. It's been a frustrating season for Ingram owners, as he teases owners with flashes of brilliance, only to follow it up with terrible performances. He's just 20 years of age and should continue to get better as the season goes on, but there's very little reason to believe he'll overcome his awful free-throw shooting (67 percent on the year) to increase his value. Ingram is outside the top 200 in value in nine-category leagues despite averaging 15.7 points per game. He's not getting enough treys from his position and is also turning the ball over 2.6 times per game. We don't recommend dropping him, but he's close to unplayable at the moment.
