Brandon Ingram Drops Team-High 29 Points In Victory
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans small/power forward Brandon Ingram flirted with the idea of a triple-double during Wednesday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, collecting 29 points, a season-high 11 assists and eight rebounds across his game-high 38 minutes. Without Jrue Holiday (elbow) available, Ingram was actually the team’s primary distributor, tying his career high in dimes and marking just the third time he has notched a double-double with assists. Ingram also tied his season high in attempts from three-point range with 11, as his four makes marked his eighth consecutive game with multiple triples added to his stat line. His ascension into an All-Star candidate has been rapid, as he should continue to see an increase in usage if Holiday remains out for Friday’s game versus the Knicks.
