Brandon Ingram Grabs Career-High 15 Rebounds During Loss
5 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans shooting guard/small forward Brandon Ingram had a tremendous performance during Saturday’s loss to the Houston Rockets, delivering 35 points and 15 rebounds in his 39 minutes of action. Ingram was efficient, shooting 14-for-22 from the floor overall, including 4-for-7 from three-point range. The 15 rebounds that he accrued set a new career best, while also adding five assists. In his age-22 season, it appears that Ingram is set to become New Orleans’ primary scoring threat while Zion Williamson remains sidelined. In just three games, the centerpiece of the Anthony Davis deal has established himself as a perennial All-Star in his own right, carrying lofty expectations into Monday’s showdown with the Golden State Warriors.
