Brendan Steele Looking To Find His Game
3 years agoBrendan Steele has struggled mightily, and that is being kind. His last top finish was at the Zurich Open in April, and that was five months ago. Since then, it has been a struggle just to make the cut, and Steele even missed four cuts in five tournaments at one point. He did not finish 2021 in the top 50 as far as any strokes-gained metrics. His putting was particularly below-average at negative-0.131 strokes gained. He does not make a lot of birdies either, averaging 3.54 per round (142nd). It is tough to even look at him as anything more than just a cheap DFS option.
