Brendon Todd May Struggle At The Sony Open
3 years agoBrendon Todd does not drive a golf ball very far, but he places the ball quite well. He was first on tour last year when it came to driving accuracy (75.25%). However, the golfer averaged just over 275 yards a drive. That still presents problems, even on a 7,044-yard course like Wai'alae. Todd finished 10 strokes off the lead last year, mostly because he just could not make putts in Rounds 1 and 4. Furthermore, there were a few holes where his short drives put him in poor position to get in birdie range. Ranking 116th in birdies last season did Todd few favors. He has to make his shots and putts count early or this year will be more of the same.
