5 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Brian Hill filled in as the team's No. 2 back behind Devonta Freeman in Week 8 as Ito Smith (concussion) was sidelined due to remaining in concussion protocol. Hill only saw three carries in the game, but made the most of them, gaining 29 yards, including a 23-yard touchdown run, his first score of the season. Freeman saw 13 carries in the game and none of them went longer than 12 yards. The Falcons have a bye next week, giving Smith plenty of time to reclaim his No. 2 running back duties.
