Brook Lopez Not Ready For Lost Season
7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Brook Lopez looked fantastic on Tuesday, as he is likely rewarding lucky owners who plucked him up off the waiver wire in the crucial stretches of fantasy hoops. Lopez finished the game with 17 points, three treys and a block. He's been terrible all season, as he never seemed to be the right fit for head coach Luke Walton and the Lakers. Owners got the bitter end of the stick when they drafted him in the third and fourth rounds of most fantasy drafts. He's really played well since the All-Star break when Larry Nance Jr. was sent off to Cleveland. Lopez has flirted with top-50 value over the past month and has been a top-15 play over the past week. He's always had a very high floor due to the fact he can be efficient when hitting three-pointers and racking up blocks. All Lopez needed was consistent minutes, and he's getting burn now. Although he was unplayable for most of the season, he's a must-own player going forward.
