7 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center Brook Lopez (back) got the start against the Pacers on Monday despite flirting with the chance that he would not be available. However, he managed to play 37 minutes, scoring 23 points on 10-for-15 shooting from the field. He also had eight boards and a few blocks. Lopez continued his recent string of impressive play and is averaging 20 points over the past five games. During that span, he is also shooting 50 percent from behind the arc and an efficient field goal percentage of nearly 55 percent. With the team lacking depth off the bench, Lopez should continue his stellar play for the remainder of the season, beginning with the Pelicans on Thursday.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
