Brooklyn Considers Adding Kevin Love, JaVale McGee
4 years agoThe Brooklyn Nets roster reconstruction may not be finished quite yet. Jason Dumas, the sports director for KRON 4 News in San Francisco, is reporting that the team has had "active discussions" with the Cleveland Cavaliers regarding a deal that would put center JaVale McGee on the move. Additionally, Brooklyn has inquired about Kevin Love as well, although it's unclear how the math could work to fit another mega-sized deal onto the Nets' books. Currently, DeAndre Jordan represents the only true center that the Nets have at their disposal, with Kevin Durant and Jeff Green having seen time at the five as well. McGee is averaging 8.2 points and 6.2 boards in under 17 minutes per game this year, and his fantasy stock would only rise by getting away from the crowded Cleveland frontcourt.
