Bruce Brown Jr. Produces Excellent Performance During Defeat
5 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard/small forward Bruce Brown Jr. had his second consecutive standout effort during Monday’s loss to the Washington Wizards, collecting 14 points, seven rebounds and seven assists across his 37 minutes. Brown, who had a bargain price on DFS, flew past his projections and once again excelled out of the backcourt for a Detroit squad that had little choice but to deploy the second-year guard in bunches. Traditionally a defensive-minded wing, Brown has shown that he can contribute on that end (three blocks and two steals Monday), but also offensively, having combined for 36 points over his last two games. Should the Pistons’ backcourt remain hampered by injury, Brown makes a solid DFS play Wednesday against a stingy Indiana defense.
