4 years agoBrooklyn Nets shooting guard/small forward Bruce Brown (knee) will miss both Tuesday's contest versus Toronto and Thursday's game against Indiana due to a sore right knee. Head coach Steve Nash said despite the fact that Brown did not travel with the team, he was "positive and optimistic" about getting him back for Friday's outing versus Portland. Shooting a career-best 54.6 percent from the floor this season, Brown has traditionally been deployed in DFS lineups when injuries have struck the Brooklyn backcourt, but he'll have some season-long appeal over the final few weeks of the regular season should he prove healthy.--Jesse Borek
