3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (forearm) was scratched from the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants due to right forearm soreness. Alec Bohm will now be filling in as the team's designated hitter for the game. Harper has been playing through a right UCL sprain for over a month now while showing no signs of slowing down at the plate. Over 45 games on the year, he's slashing .303/.359/.584 with 10 home runs, six stolen bases, 32 RBI and 34 runs. The Phillies are off on Thursday, so Harper will have two straight rest days before attempting to return against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
