3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper had a fantastic three-game series against the Seattle Mariners this week. He went 6-for-11 for two doubles, two walks and three runs scored. Most surprisingly, he attempted three stolen bases in the series and was successful on each occasion. The 29-year-old now has six stolen bases over 31 games on the year, putting him on a 162-game pace of slightly more than 30 steals. Last year, he only attempted 16 stolen bases over 141 games (successfully stealing 13 bags). We'd bet heavily on his steal rate decreasing the rest of the way in 2022, but the stolen bags thus far have certainly been a nice bonus for fantasy managers at the very least.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
