2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper (thumb) is set to visit his surgeon next week. According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, Harper is hoping that he'll get the pins removed from his wrist during the visit. Harper broke his left thumb back on June 25. Following the injury, he had three pins inserted into his thumb. The 29-year-old was given an estimated timeline of six-to-eight weeks after the pins were inserted, meaning he could be back by mid-August if he can land on the short end of that estimate. The seven-time All-Star owns a .318/.385/.599 slash line over 64 games on the year.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
