5 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes righted the ship on Saturday night against the Detroit Pistons. Forbes scored 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting to go along with three rebounds, three assists and one steal. Forbes had been struggling for a few games after recording single-digit scoring outputs in five straight outings. December has not been as kind to Forbes as November was. Last month, Forbes scored double digits in 13 of 16 games but has only reached that mark in three of his 11 December games. Forbes is stuck in a four-guard rotation in San Antonio and won't have much value in anything but deep leagues until one of those guards, or even Forbes himself, moves on to a new team.--Euan Leith
