6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes made the start at point guard in the preseason finale Friday in Orlando and he came away with eight points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal over his 26 minutes. His shooting wasn't great, going 4-of-11 with 0-of-2 from behind the arc, but that will come. He is expected to hold down the fort at least until Derrick White (heel) is able to return in a couple of weeks. Patty Mills will serve as his understudy at the point. If you're drafting in seasonal leagues this weekend, remember Forbes in the final rounds.--Daniel Dobish
