Buddy Hield Drops 20 Points For Fourth Straight Game
5 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield had another 20-point outing in a 107-99 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night. Hield was inefficient from the field, though, as he needed 21 shots to get his 20 points and only connected on two of his 11 three-point attempts. Hield isn't having the follow-up season the Kings were hoping for to his breakout performance last season. His points, field-goal percentages and three-point percentages are all down from last season. With De'Aaron Fox and Marvin Bagley both sidelined, Hield will be asked to take on a bigger workload than usual. He started all 82 games last season, averaging 31.9 minutes, so the durability should not be a concern for fantasy managers. Matchups against the backcourts of the Lakers and Celtics complete the Week 4 slate for the Kings.
