6 years agoSacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield had a solid opening-night performance, finishing with 19 points over 32 minutes while going 9-for-18 from the field on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. He also added six rebounds, an assist, a steal and a blocked shot before fouling out. The former University of Oklahoma standout appears primed and ready to take a big leap forward, and serving in the starting five on a regular basis will certainly help. Don't be terribly concerned about Iman Shumpert taking away any of Hield's run, as the Kings love to lean on their young guys first.--Daniel Dobish
