Bulls Fire Head Coach Jim Boylen
4 years agoChicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen has been fired by the organization on Friday. He replaced Fred Hoiberg in 2018, but had little success during his time in Chicago. Boylen only won 39 games and lost 84 during his stint with the team. Zach LaVine and Lauri Markkanen expressed their displease with Boylen during the season. It sounds like Boylen lost the locker room and that was basically the end for him. New executive Arturas Karnisovas decided it was time to go in another direction. The search for a new coach begins with names like Kenny Atkinson, Adrian Griffin, and Darvin Ham surfacing. This should be good for the Bulls going forward since their young core was not happy with the way Boylen was running the show. It'll be interesting to see what direction the team decides to go this offseason.
