C.J. Cron Homers, Drives In Game-Winning Run In 10th
6 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman C.J. Cron helped lead the team to victory on Saturday, going 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI. His 10th inning single scored Luis Arraez and gave the Twins a 4-3 lead in a game they'd go on to win 5-3. Cron is having a great debut season in Minnesota, slashing .285/.389/.547 with 17 home runs and 50 RBI in 67 games. He's reduced his strikeouts this season, cutting his strikeout rate down from 25.9% in 2018 to 19.7% this year and his 15.2% barrel rate is amongst the top 10% in the league. He should be owned in all leagues as he provides a great source of power without any glaring weaknesses.
