5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point/shooting guard C.J. McCollum nearly had an identical performance from his excellent 30-point showing versus Phoenix on Monday when he dropped 30 points on the Golden State Warriors in Wednesday’s win. McCollum shot 11-for-19 from the field overall, including 3-for-8 from long range, and padded his stat line by adding five rebounds and three assists. Having established himself as one of the league’s most consistent scoring threats, McCollum is also in line to set new career highs in three-pointers made (2.6) and rebounds per contest (4.5), which have also raised his fantasy value. That notwithstanding, he faces Orlando on Friday, who has traditionally held him in check throughout his career, limiting him to 16.1 points per game, the second lowest total of any team in the league.--Jesse Borek
