4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum had a couple of inefficient shooting performances in his last two games, though he bounced back in a big way on Thursday night. McCollum dropped a game-high 35 points on 14-for-25 shooting from the field, adding six triples on 42.9 percent shooting. The 29-year-old rounded out his line with eight assists, a rebound, and a block in 38 minutes. While he's shot 4 of 17 from beyond the arc in two games in between, McCollum has a pair of 30-point games with six or more triples since returning from his foot injury. Up next is a matchup with the Magic. They've allowed the sixth-most made triples per game this season, so he seems lined up for another big performance.--Tim Capurso
