C.J. McCollum Facing One-Week Absence
4 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum (foot) has been ruled out for at least the next week due to a sprained left foot that he sustained Saturday. Head coach Terry Stotts said prior to Monday's game that the team would re-evaluate McCollum in a week, meaning that he'll miss at least the next four contests. Rodney Hood entered the starting five in his place Monday, going for 21 points in 25 minutes, making him a solid short-term streamer option in season-long formats. Without McCollum, Damian Lillard also figures to see a higher DFS ceiling, as McCollum was knocking down a league-high 4.8 made three-pointers per contest at the time of his injury. Check back for updates on his status as they become available.
