3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum continued his good start to the season with a 28-point performance in Saturday's 134-105 win over Phoenix. He sank six triples with 11 attempts and shot 10-for-19 overall from the field with a 2-for-2 effort at the line. McCollum also put in a big shift at the defensive end, swatting away a game-high three shots with one steal. His night also included three rebounds and one assist with two turnovers in 30 minutes. McCollum is currently spitting flames and will get to do it again versus the Clippers next. Tyronn Lue's squad is off to a slow start to the season and has struggled defensively, which gives McCollum a good platform to go off once more.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
