3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum scored a team-high 21 points in a heavy defeat against Denver on Sunday, shooting 5-for-10 from behind the arc and 7-for-17 overall from the field. He had a chance to lead the offense with Damian Lillard (abdomen) sitting this one out. McCollum's line included two rebounds, two assists and two steals with two turnovers in 30 minutes. Lillard has apparently been slightly injured ever since the Olympics and that is likely the reason why he's not had a very good start to the season. McCollum has done well by averaging a 22-4-4 line, but he's currently shooting just 42 percent from the field and must improve. The Blazers play again on Monday against the Raptors and DFS managers should focus on McCollum if Lillard remains out.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
