3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum was the top scorer with 28 points in Tuesday's 110-92 win over Detroit, hitting 4-for-11 from downtown and shooting 11-for-26 overall from the field. He handed out six assists with one turnover and recorded four rebounds and two steals in 36 minutes. Portland finished off a back-to-back set and was missing multiple guys, including Damian Lillard (rest), and McCollum carried a big load. He set a new season high with 26 shot attempts. Lillard should be back for Thursday's contest against San Antonio which will lower McCollum's usage. The matchup isn't particularly pleasant for shooting guards either.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
