6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum scored almost half of the team's points on Wednesday, going for 40 in a 92-83 loss to Memphis. He was 16-for-27 from the field, including 2-for-5 from behind the arc. McCollum also made six of his seven attempts from the line. The Blazers had a horrible game, but McCollum's efforts helped them be within touching distance in the fourth quarter. He added five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block to his tally in 39 minutes. McCollum missed one game last week with an ankle problem and the rest seems to be paying dividends, as he's averaging 27.3 points per game since his return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
