C.J. McCollum Recovers From Lung Issue, Remains Out
3 years agoPortland Trail Blazers shooting guard C.J. McCollum (lung) got positive news Thursday with the team announcing that he has recovered from a collapsed lung that has kept him out since Dec. 4. McCollum will miss at least the team's next two games as it further evaluates a return to play. Without his 20.6 points per game average in the mix, Anfernee Simons has taken on an increased role, while Damian Lillard has further asserted himself offensively. McCollum remains tied for the fourth-most made three-point attempts per game (3.2) this season, as he is on pace for a seventh straight year of averaging at least 20 points per contest. Fantasy managers will want to check in next week for further updates to McCollum's status.
