6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum managed to provide 16 points on 7-for-17 shooting in the Game 1 loss to the Nuggets on Monday night. McCollum added four rebounds with three assists and a block while knocking down two of his seven attempts from three in 38 minutes of action. The Trail Blazers are going to need more out of their second option. During the season, he shot 48.3 percent from the floor, which is up from 42.6 percent shooting in losses. The Blazers will need to find some ways to get McCollum more involved offensively if they want to steal home-court advantage in Game 2 of this series.--Gianni Costantiello
