3 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Cade Cunningham (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Grizzlies as he continues to be bothered by a right hip pointer. Cunningham's absence marks his fifth in a row, paving the way for Frank Jackson, Hamidou Diallo, and Killian Hayes to all see expanded offensive roles. Cunningham has continuously been tagged as questionable as of late, a positive step for his prospects of returning to action in the near future. Detroit's next chance to get their leading assist (5.2) and steals (1.3) per game producer back comes Friday vs. Charlotte.--Jesse Borek
