Caleb Martin Could See Workload As Power Forward In 2022-23
2 years agoMiami Heat forward Caleb Martin may stand just 6-foot-5, but he is a realistic option for the club to hand a sizable minutes load at the power forward spot this year. Armed with a new three-year contract, Martin seems poised to try and fill P.J. Tucker's do-it-all role after the veteran signed with Philadelphia this offseason. "I think I'm a basketball player and I adjust to any position," Martin said via Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald. "I'm going to get the job done." Miami boasts Nikola Jovic and Haywood Highsmith as internal options, but Martin offers exciting upside, especially on the heels of averaging new career-bests with 9.2 points and 3.8 boards per game last season.
