3 years agoCameron Champ will be making his first start of 2022 at The American Express this week. In total, it will only be Champ's second start of the season, playing only once in the fall. In that event, Champ shot a 73 and 71, leading to a missed cut at the Fortinet Championship. Champ didn't play again in the fall, due to a wrist injury. Champ had planned to start 2022 at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, but that didn't happen due to a positive COVID-19 test. Now, Champ will start his season at a place he shot a 77 and 75 last season, leading to a missed cut. He did finish inside the top-25 at The American Express in 2020, but Champ cannot be trusted this week in California. --Kasey Kuhrts - RotoBaller
