2 years agoSan Francisco Giants closer Camilo Doval earned his 13th save of the season on Thursday as he closed out the team's 4-2 victory over the Chicago Cubs. He pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out three. This was the Giants' first win since the All-Star break as the team has been in the midst of an extremely rough stretch. Doval has now converted five consecutive save chances and he's 13-for-15 overall on the year. He owns a 2.81 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP to go along with a 3.1 K/BB ratio.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
