Caris LeVert Leads Nets In Scoring In Opener
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard Caris Levert scored a team-high 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting in Wednesday's season-opening loss to the Detroit Pistons. LeVert also made seven of his eight free throw attempts while adding four rebounds and four assists. A popular sleeper pick heading into the year, LeVert should occupy a spot in the team's starting lineup until DeMarre Carroll returns from ankle surgery. Brooklyn next plays the Knicks on Friday, where LeVert will look to continue playing a significant role in Brooklyn's offense.
