5 years agoBrooklyn Nets shooting guard/small forward Caris Levert has been ruled out well ahead of Monday’s game versus the Orlando Magic due to right thumb load management. Levert had surgery on the injured body part earlier this year and returned to play 16 minutes off the bench Saturday. He collected 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting in that brief span, giving owners a glimpse of the immense scoring potential that he possesses. Unfortunately, he does not yet appear a full go, with his next chance to suit up coming Tuesday against Oklahoma City. Expect Garrett Temple to see an increased role in his absence.--Jesse Borek
