4 years agoIndiana Pacers point guard/small forward Caris Levert successfully underwent surgery on his left kidney Tuesday, with the team expecting him to make a full recovery. A previously undiscovered tumor was found after the Pacers acquired LeVert from Brooklyn in the James Harden blockbuster. It's unclear at this stage if LeVert will return to action in 2020-21, but more importantly, he will not need to undergo further treatment for the ailment. When healthy, he remains one of the game's blossoming stars that should join Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon as staples of the Pacers' franchise for years to come.--Jesse Borek
