Caris LeVert Will Miss Saturday’s Contest
3 years agoIndiana Pacers point/shooting guard Caris LeVert (calf) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. Phoenix due to right calf soreness. LeVert's absence is his second in a row, paving the way for Chris Duarte, Justin Holiday, and Lance Stephenson to all see larger roles on the wing; with Malcolm Brogdon (Achilles) also down, Keifer Sykes stands to see significant minutes at the point. LeVert was in a sizable offensive rhythm prior to the ailment cropping up, as he averaged 23 PPG over his last four contests while shooting 56.5 percent overall. His next chance to return to action comes Monday against the Pelicans.
