Caris LeVert Will Not Play In Thursday’s Contest
4 years agoIndiana Pacers shooting guard Caris Levert (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Milwaukee due to a right knee bruise. LeVert has been logging yeoman's work for the Pacers, particularly over their past four contests, which have seen him average 27.5 points and 8.8 assists across 39.7 minutes per outing. His absence will leave Indiana massively short-handed on the wing, paving the way for Justin Holiday and Doug McDermott to hold increased roles. LeVert underwent an MRI and the ailment was revealed to be only a bruise, although his status for Saturday's contest versus the Lakers is likely somewhat up in the air.
