7 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Carlos Gomez (groin) is feeling better and is hoping to return from the disabled list when eligible. Gomez cannot be activated until May 26 at the earliest, but he hopes he will not need much longer than that. In 2018, Gomez is hitting .200 with five home runs and three stolen bases in 156 plate appearances. Gomez is also striking out in 31.4 percent of his plate appearances. Gomez's career fall from grace has continued in 2018, and he now has next to no fantasy value outside of AL-only leagues.--Ben Rolfe
