Carlos Santana Hits 17th Bomb Of Season
6 years agoCleveland Indians first baseman Carlos Santana had another nice game on Sunday, hitting 1-for-3 with a homer, two runs scored, and a walk in the 8-3 win over the Detroit Tigers. The homer came in the fifth inning off of starter Daniel Norris and was Santana's 17th of the year. Currently on pace to have the best season of his 10-year career, Santana is hitting .293/.416/.541 with 17 home runs, 47 RBI, 53 runs scored, and three steals. He is also sporting a 52/56 K/BB ratio, .408 wOBA, 47.7 % hard-hit rate, and 92.7 MPH average exit velocity. He has been one of the top first baseman in fantasy so far in 2019 and there's nothing to suggest that his production will slow down. Continue to hold onto and start Santana in all formats.
