5 years agoPortland Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony stepped up with Damian Lillard (groin) out on Sunday when he scored a season-high 32 points in the three-point win over the Pistons. Anthony recorded these points on a sizzling 11 of 16 shooting, which included five makes from three to go along with four rebounds and an assist in 37 minutes of action. Some better supporting numbers would have been nice, but if you needed points on Sunday to close out the week, then he stepped up there for your squad. He has been struggling as of late, so hopefully with Lillard on the shelf, Melo can find his groove again.--Gianni Costantiello
