3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers forward Carmelo Anthony led the team with 28 points in 28 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 121-118 victory over Memphis, moving into ninth place on the league's all-time scoring list. Melo got to 27,423 career points, leaving Moses Malone (27,409) behind him. He sunk six of eight attempts from deep and shot 10-for-15 overall from the field, adding three rebounds to his tally with one assist, one steal and two blocks. The veteran scorer had combined for only 27 points in his first two appearances as a Laker. Nights like these have become very rare for Anthony, but he can still get buckets in a hurry and will look to maintain his scoring form on Tuesday against the Spurs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
