Carmelo Anthony Remains Unavailable For Saturday’s Game
3 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward Carmelo Anthony (hamstring) has been ruled out for a fourth consecutive contest, this time missing Saturday's outing vs. Golden State. L.A.'s second unit has primarily relied on Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson for elevated usage in Anthony's absence. Prior to being injured, Anthony was in an offensive rhythm, averaging 14.6 points over his last nine games, shooting 40.8 percent from behind the arc in that span. The Lakers have been mum on a return to action for Anthony, with just one game remaining (Wednesday against the Jazz) prior to the All-Star break.
