Carson Fulmer Allows Six Walks In Loss Tuesday
7 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Carson Fulmer struggled with his control Tuesday afternoon versus the Tampa Bay Rays. In 4 1/3 innings, Fulmer allowed four runs (three earned), five hits, six walks and struck out four. Fulmer is in the rotation because Carlos Rodon (shoulder) is on the disabled list and top pitching prospect Michael Kopech isn’t ready for the big leagues yet. The White Sox also have veteran Hector Santiago, who has been operating out of the bullpen, but he could step in for Fulmer if he continues to struggle. Fulmer will look for better results Sunday versus the Twins.
