3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Casey Mize went 6 2/3 innings on Tuesday night as he helped lead his team to a 4-3 victory over the Kansas City Royals. While he didn't tally the win, the 24-year-old right-hander continues to pitch deep into games for Detroit, a club that continues to rebound from a dismal start to its 2021 season. The Tigers likely want to keep an eye on how many innings Mize is racking up, given Tuesday's start marks the seventh time in eight starts that he has gone six-plus innings.
