3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Casey Mize will take the mound on Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals. Mize has thrown 124.1 innings for Detroit this season, pitching to a 3.69 ERA and a 5.03 FIP to go along with 98 strikeouts, and 36 walks. Detroit recently limited Mize's innings in the form of shorter starts, and he struggled a bit in his last outing, which lasted just four innings and included the right-hander surrendering four hits, four walks, and two runs. All that being said, he could be worth a look as a streaming option for managers on Tuesday against a Cardinals lineup that has struggled to score runs at times.
