Castellanos Crushes Fourth Career Grand Slam in Sunday's Win
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Nick Castellanos took Toronto Blue Jays starter J.A Happ deep in the fifth inning for his 13th home run of the season, plating four RBI as part of his 2-for-4 day. He nearly had another bomb in the ninth inning but was robbed by Kevin Pillar at the wall. All things considered, it was a great day for Castellanos and the Tigers as they snapped an 11-game losing streak in Sunday afternoon's emphatic beatdown of the Blue Jays. Castellanos is in the midst of a career-best season, slashing .309/.356/.517 with 12 home runs, 49 RBI, and 42 runs scored. Over his last seven games, he's sitting at .407/.467/.889 with three homers, eight RBI, and six runs scored. Castellanos is proving to be a very valuable fantasy asset in his sixth major league season, ranking among the the top tier of outfielders in the game so far and showing no signs of slowing down. He's a firm hold in all leagues.
