Cavs Confident Collin Sexton Will Be Back
2 years agoGuard Collin Sexton (knee) is expected to receive plenty of interest from multiple clubs throughout the NBA over the summer. However, because he's a restricted free agent, the Cavaliers will have the luxury of matching any offers. The 23-year-old played only 11 games in 2021 due to a torn meniscus in his left knee. Yet, after undergoing surgery, he's ahead of schedule, making it likely he'll be ready for the start of the regular season in October. Throughout Sexton's four years in Cleveland, he averaged 20.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists while shooting 45.8% from the field and 37.8% from deep. He doesn't offer much outside of scoring, and his health has been an issue over the years. Still, no matter where Sexton is playing in 2022-23, he is expected to remain a quality member of any fantasy roster, even more so in non-category formats.
