Celtics Add Payton Pritchard With No. 26 Overall Selection
4 years agoThe Boston Celtics drafted point guard Payton Pritchard out of the University of Oregon with the 26th overall pick out of the 2020 NBA Draft. Having been named a first-team All-American last season, Pritchard averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game, all while shooting 41.5 percent from three-point range. The addition of Pritchard gives Boston depth at the point guard spot after seeing Kemba Walker miss time down the stretch in '19-20 due to myriad injuries. While Pritchard has a muddled path to season-long fantasy consideration, shrewd DFS fantasy managers should keep an eye out for nights when Pritchard may see an increase in minutes.
