3 years agoMaybe there are too many expectations on Charles Howell III. He missed the cut at the WM Phoenix Open as that opening round 75 did him no favors. Howell III did not play poorly at the American Express or the Sony Open. At the American Express, not enough putts dropped for him on the back nine to truly contend. While he is fifth around the green with almost 0.55 strokes gained, Howell III's putting is -0.019 strokes gained (119th). He gets the ball on the green well but his tee shots are a bit more erratic than they should. The American golfer will have to be more accurate off the tee on the Jack Nicklaus course in Florida.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
